Abbeville
Abbeville is town in South Carolina that is located and laid out much like it is described in the The Lincoln Secret. Professor Enloe's comments in the novel, about the role of Abbeville in the Civil War, are also accurate. The famous vote to secede occured in the town and the final order disbanding the army also was issued from Abbeville.
